What's in The Secret Sauce of a Great Trip?
I've been designing and selling travel all my adult career which started after personal travel in Central America and the South Pacific. Since then I have been all over Canada and the US, South America, Europe, way up north to the Yukon and Alaska and into the Caribbean. The more I travel, the better it gets. I am a dual citizen of Canada and Great Britain. I speak fluent English, passable Spanish and enough French to get into trouble.
In my career, I have priced, quoted on and closed trips for thousands of people. Adult groups, independents, seniors, retirees, school groups, university groups, hundreds of individuals of various budgets and special interests.
My specialty is in helping people have the very best experiences, where ever they travel. To describe my role I often say to people, "you do the photos, we do the details." I also often say "car free is care free" when travelling in a country that is not your home.
But the secret sauce? Let me give you a hint I learned from a great Italian chef, "always start with quality local ingredients, then season to taste." I am a great believer in using local talent to help you get more out of your trip than you'd get on your own. It doesn't have to be expensive to be excellent.
